Privacy Policy

Account data: your name, email address, and (optionally) a profile picture you upload or that we receive from Google when you sign in with it.

Usage data: items you save, upvote, or submit, and basic technical information such as device/browser type and approximate region, collected to operate and improve the service.

Communications: messages, feedback, or resources you send us, and your newsletter preference.

To create and secure your account, provide the platform's features, respond to your requests, and — only if you opt in — send you news and updates. We do not sell your personal data.

We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the service), based on your consent (e.g. newsletter), and for our legitimate interests in operating and improving VClense.

We share data only with providers that help us run the service, under appropriate safeguards:

Supabase (authentication & database), Google (sign-in, if you use it), Resend (transactional and newsletter emails), and Vercel(hosting). Some of these may process data outside Switzerland/the EU under standard contractual clauses.

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences, and privacy- respecting analytics to understand usage. We do not use advertising cookies.

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data, except where we must retain limited information to meet legal obligations.

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data, and withdraw consent at any time. You can update your name, picture, and newsletter preference, or delete your account, directly in your profile settings. To exercise any other right, contact us below.
